01

The challenge

Axioforce grew out of the University of Kansas. Its Axiocell sensor is a soft magnetic composite paired with a tiny magnetometer, and it reads force in three dimensions from a single sensing element. The first product, the LaunchPad force plate, puts lab-grade 3D force data on a pitching mound, in a weight room or out on a field, at a fraction of what legacy systems cost.

That is a lot to explain to someone walking past a trade show booth or scrolling past an ad. Axioforce needed films that make the product obvious in a few seconds, and that let its scientists make the case in their own words once someone stops to listen.

02

What we did

  • Shot and cut the LaunchPad promo: athletes jump, throw and pitch on the plate while the software draws every force vector in real time. It works with the sound off.

  • Wrote the teleprompter script and filmed a three-part interview series with co-founder and CTO Dr. Jonny Miller, Dr. Stephen Houston and Dr. Ember Krech, covering the origin story, the Axiocell platform and the Axiostride smart insole.

  • Designed the lower thirds, captured lab and training-facility B-roll, and photographed the insole in running shoes.

03

The result

The promo runs on a loop in the Axioforce booth at trade shows, where it starts the sales conversation on its own. Someone sees an athlete land on the plate and the force data draw itself on screen, and they stop. The interview films carry the follow-up, giving coaches, researchers and partners the origin, the science and the applications from the people who built it.

Cut-downs of the same footage run as paid ads, so the story reaches buyers who never make it to the booth. The project gave Axioforce a booth loop, an ad library and a set of credibility pieces its sales team can send after every conversation.
